Accessibility Service

FocusLock offers an optional App Blocker feature that uses Android Accessibility Service permissions.

This permission is used solely to:

  • Detect when a blocked application is opened.

  • Restrict access to selected applications during focus sessions.

The Accessibility Service is:

  • Completely optional.

  • Enabled only with your consent.

  • Can be disabled at any time through your device settings.

FocusLock does not use Accessibility Service to collect personal information, monitor personal activity, read messages, or share data with third parties.

Notifications

FocusLock may send local notifications to:

  • Remind you of study sessions.

  • Alert you about focus timers.

  • Notify you about scheduled reminders.

These notifications are generated on your device and are used only to support the app's functionality.

Data Storage

All study plans, syllabus progress, timer data, reminders, and app-blocking preferences are stored locally on your device.

We do not upload your data to external servers.

Data Sharing

FocusLock does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Data Security

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you remain in control of your information. We take reasonable measures to ensure the app operates securely.
