Welcome to Landlord. Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the Landlord app handles your information.
Landlord is designed to help users manage renters, track rental details, and send automated SMS reminders for due dates — all while keeping your data fully under your control.
2. Data Collection Policy
We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
- The app does not require account creation.
- The app does not send any user data to the internet.
- The app does not use cloud storage or remote databases.
- We do not track users or collect analytics data.
All information you enter into the app stays entirely on your device.
3. Data Storage and Processing
All data is processed and stored locally on your device only.
This includes:
- Renter names
- Phone numbers
- Rental amounts
- Due dates
- Notes or additional details
This data is stored using your device’s internal storage and is not accessible to us or any third party.
You have full control over this data, including the ability to modify or delete it at any time.
4. SMS Functionality
The Landlord app includes a feature to send automatic SMS reminders to renters.
How it works:
- SMS messages are sent directly from your device using your phone’s native SMS service.
- Messages are only sent to renter phone numbers that you manually add.
- SMS messages are triggered based on due dates set by you.
Important notes:
- We do not send SMS messages from any server.
- We do not store or access SMS content externally.
- Standard SMS charges from your mobile carrier may apply.
- You remain fully responsible for the messages sent through your device.
5. Permissions
To function properly, the app may request the following permissions:
a. SMS Permission
Used to send due date reminders to renters.
This permission is only used for the app’s core functionality.
b. Contacts (Optional, if applicable)
If implemented, this may allow you to select renter phone numbers easily.
Otherwise, all numbers are manually entered.
c. Storage (if required)
Used to store renter and rental data locally on your device.
We only request permissions that are necessary for the app to function.
6. Data Security
Since all data is stored locally:
- Your data is as secure as your device.
- We recommend using device-level security such as:
- Screen lock (PIN, password, or biometrics)
- Device encryption (if available)
We do not have access to your data and cannot recover it if lost.
7. Data Sharing
We do not share any data with:
- Third-party services
- Advertisers
- Analytics providers
- Government or legal entities (unless required by law through your device)
Because we do not collect any data, there is nothing to share.
8. Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time by:
